The ambience is cute. Lot's of decor. The nostalgic diner feel is definitely here. The service was ok. I don't understand their system but it hobbled along. The food was great. We got the cheeseburger 9/10. The mushroom burger 8/10. The cream cheese burger ( new 1 for me) 9/10. Super messy burger. Crazy prices. We also got the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. They were almost $20. Get out of town!! In all , for late night eats and diner food , it gets the job done.

My friends and I ate here for breakfast while visiting SF and our server was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He asked where we were visiting from and got us a map and circled places we should go and explained how to get there using public transit. He even took a picture of us in our booth! The food was pretty good and the portion sizes were great. I loved the atmosphere and decor as well! Definitely a place you should go if you’re visiting SF!

The gentlemen that survived us were amazing! I loved the look of the restaurant and the jukebox was playing all the hits for brunch. Very good diner food! I’m positive the First Gentleman that helped us was the owner and he was the sweetest person!

Loved it! The people, the story, all of it! So friendly and patient. They shared the whole history with us upon request. Food was fast and very good. We will visit again! — And the tabletops were just like our local burger place from when I was a kid!

Between the health code disaster of dogs eating at tables and the disappointing food, I will not be back. This place desperately needs a reality check both in management and in the kitchen. I wanted to like this place. The old school diner vibe with burgers and malts sounded promising, but the experience was awful. The first red flag was a customer who brought in a dog that was very clearly not a service animal and let it sit in the booth and eat at the table. Management watched it happen and did absolutely nothing. That alone speaks volumes about their filthy tolerances and lack of standards. As for the food, it was completely mediocre. The burger was forgettable, the fries limp, and the “classic” milkshake was so thick it was practically inedible with a straw. Instead of feeling like a nostalgic diner treat, it felt like a lazy careless imitation.
